RALEIGH, N.C. – Following the death of Taliyah Watson, a 19-year-old woman shot to death on Saturday in the 1300 block of Sawyer Road near McMakin Street, Raleigh NC, the Raleigh Police Department has made another arrest.
Ashante Freeman, 22 years old woman has been arrested and charged for the murder of Taliyah Watson.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, 21-year-old A’shante Freeman has been charged with murder in relation to the homicide of Watson.
Wake County Detention Center inmate records show Freeman is currently being held there on no bond and is awaiting her first court appearance.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
