Rochas Okorocha, the former governor of Imo State, has warned against ethnic profiling of Igbos, stating that they are not serial killers as has been suggested.
This was stated by Okorocha at a centenary commemoration in Abuja recently in honor of the late Michael Okpara, the former Premier of Eastern Nigeria.

“I appeal to all Nigerians to stop ethnic profiling of Igbo people.” They aren’t murderers; otherwise, they wouldn’t be doing business in Kano or Lagos. Indeed, we are witnessing one of the most horrific periods in our history.”
