Kayode Adeyanju, 45, of Redeemed Church, Tinubu Estate, Ibeshe, Ikorodu, Lagos State, was captured by police operatives from the Ipakodo Division, Ikorodu, for defiling his biological daughter, who is just 14 years old.
According to CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the survivor personally reported the crime to Ipakodo Police Station in Ikorodu on June 7, 2021, following her ordeal at the hands of her father, and police operatives detained the culprit.
CSP Olumuyiwa stated that the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has denounced the crime and directed that the case be forwarded to the Command’s Gender Unit for further investigation.
