Abdullahi Shehu, the Polytechnic’s Public Relations Officer, said they were freed at an undisclosed place in Kaduna.

After their parents and relatives negotiated with the bandits, the kidnapped students and staff members were released, Shehu told Channels TV.

The school authorities will receive the students later in the day at a location where they were kept after their release, according to the institution’s spokesperson, who did not specify whether or not a ransom was paid.
