The Department of State Services (DSS) has called Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu, to Abuja for questioning. The operatives went to the church to send off the invitation letter, but they didn’t meet the priest there.
Mbaka has recently gained notice for his criticism of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
In a video obtained by SaharaReporters, Mbaka responded to the summons by saying, “I got a call that the DSS officials from Abuja came here (Enugu) with a letter of invitation to Abuja.” What is it that you are upset about? What I don’t understand is why Nigeria’s mother church should be “cowed down” to lilliputian proportions. The church represents both a lion and a lamb. What can the righteous do if the foundation is demolished, according to the Bible?
Every priest is a monarch and a prophet. We must safeguard the sheep. People have lost hope in this period, when homicides are rampant and there is hunger everywhere. God is my one ray of hope. Anyone who prevents people from worshiping here will be sorry.
“Here, I am the servant. They have no understanding of history. I came out against Abacha’s regime. I proceeded to Minna to inform Babangida of the situation.
I had a face-to-face conversation with Obasanjo. I perform with the Holy Spirit’s anointing. I had the honor of ministering to the late President Yaradua. I am being used by the Holy Spirit, a higher being.
“No wahala if they harass me here and there” (no problem). Who can be against us if God is for us, according to the Bible? Only God has the ability to be God. According to what I’ve heard, the letter was not accepted by the security personnel.
They requested that they deliver the letter to me on Monday. Allow them to change if the anointing here is too hot for them. “I will not be silent.”
