Eriksen, his wife, and six medics were invited to the final by UEFA, but there was no certainty he would make an appearance.
Peder Ersgaard, one of the paramedics, said he was pleased to get a VIP invitation from UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin.
He told the Fagbladet FOA magazine, “I’m excited like a child on Christmas Eve.”
“I’m quite proud of my efforts, as well as the work of the entire team. It wasn’t a one-man effort.
Eriksen’s involvement in London is still yet to be confirmed, since he is recovering at home.
‘Christian still feels like a part of this group,’ Eriksen’s agent Martin Schoots told Sportsmail. Because Denmark is such a tiny country, the ties between players are really strong.’
