Mudryk, a skilled player with plenty of speed, has quickly established himself as one of Europe’s most dangerous attacking players in one-on-one situations. He is primarily a wide player who has played for Shakhtar Donetsk on both wings, but many of his best performances have come when cutting in from the left onto his preferred right foot.

“I’m so happy to sign for Chelsea,” Mudryk said.
“This is a huge club, in a fantastic league and it is a very attractive project for me at this stage of my career. I’m excited to meet my new team-mates and I’m looking forward to working and learning under Graham Potter and his staff.”
Chelsea chairman Todd Boehly and co-controlling owner Behdad Eghbali stated: “We are delighted to have Mykhailo join us at Chelsea. He’s a tremendously exciting prospect who we believe will be an excellent addition to our team both now and in the future. He will add depth to our attack, and we know he will be warmly welcomed in London.”
Mudryk is Chelsea’s fifth January signing, following the arrivals of Joao Felix, Benoit Badiashile, David Datro Fofana, and Andrey Santos.
