Nigerian Air Force (NAF) 2022/2023 Application Portal

This is to inform interested applicants who intend to apply for the Nigerian Air force recruiting 2022 that the application portal for Nigerian Air force  is now open and accepting applications.

Before filling out the form, you should read the specific disciplines that are necessary.
This page will inform you about the Nigerian Air Force Airmen/women recruitment portal, application guidelines, and how to obtain the application form. On the NAF website, www.airforce.mil.ng, you can apply for jobs and join in the Nigerian Air Force.
 

NAF 2022 Qualifications And Requirement

All available positions, as well as the required Academic Qualifications Requirement for Direct Short Service Cadets Recruitment 2022. You must thoroughly examine them to determine which one you are applying for and what their requirements are.
  1. Interested and qualified applicants are to apply FREE OF CHARGE online at www.airforce.mil.ng
  2. Applicants are to apply once. Multiple online applications will be disqualified
  3. Nigerian Air Force Online Recruitment & Enlistment Portal NAF Recruitment Exercise Ends in 24Day(s) 4Hour(s) 7Minute(s) 52Second(s) Application Process is FREE OF CHARGE and no payment should be made at any point throughout the Exercise.
  4. Online Registration starts on 11 April 2022 and closes on 22 May 2022.
  5. Nationality: Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth, and possess national identity card/NIN or BVN.
  6. Age: Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 22 years (Applicants born before 31 March 2001 are not eligible) for non-tradesmen/women, 18 and 25 years of age (Applicants born before 31 March 1998 are not eligible) for tradesmen/women.
  7. Those applying for Chaplains Assistant/Assistant Imams and Drivers/Mechanic must be between 18 and 28 years of age (Applicants born before 31 March 1995 are not eligible).
  8. Marital Status: All applicants must be single.
  9. Height: Minimum height is 1.66m or 5.4ft for males and 1.63m or 5.3ft for females.
  10. Medical Fitness: Applicants must be medically, physically and psychologically fit and must meet the Nigerian Air Force medical and employment standards.
  11. Local Government Area Attestation Form: Applicants’ Local Government Area Attestation Form must be signed by a military officer from the same State as the applicants and not below the rank of Wing Commander in the Nigerian Air Force or equivalent in the NIgerian Army and Nigerian Navy or a Police Officer of the rank of Assistant Commissioner and above, or Local Government Chairmen/Secretaries, Magistrates and Principals of Secondary Schools attended by applicants’ can also sign the Attestation Form.
  12. The Local Government Area Attestation Form must be accompanied by the passport photograph and photocopy of the signees’ Drivers Licence or National ID Card or International Passport.
  13. The signee is also to authenticate behind the applicants’ passport photograph.
  14. Medical Fitness: Applicants must be medically, physically and psychologically fit and must meet the Nigerian Air Force medical and employment standards.
  15. Local Government Area Attestation Form: Applicants’ Local Government Area Attestation Form must be signed by a military officer from the same State as the applicants and not below the rank of Wing Commander in the Nigerian Air Force or equivalent in the NIgerian Army and Nigerian Navy or a Police Officer of the rank of Assistant Commissioner and above, or Local Government Chairmen/Secretaries, Magistrates and Principals of Secondary Schools attended by applicants’ can also sign the Attestation Form.
  16. The Local Government Area Attestation Form must be accompanied by the passport photograph and photocopy of the signees’ Drivers Licence or National ID Card or International Passport.
  17. The signee is also to authenticate behind the applicants’ passport photograph.
  18. Presentation of original credentials: Successful applicants are required to submit their original credentials for scrutiny at the Selection Board Interview Exercise.
  19. The credentials include the following: a. Two recent passport size photographs to be stamped and countersigned by the officer of appropriate rank as specified in Paragraph 6. b. Original and Photocopy of Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age. c. Original and Photocopy of Educational/Trade Certificates. d. Original and Photocopy of Indigeneship certificate from applicant’s Local Government/State of Origin. e. Original and Photocopy of Attestation of Good Character signed by Officer of appropriate rank as specified in paragraph 6.
  20. Any applicant suspected to have impersonated or submitted false document(s) shall be disqualified from the Selection Exercise.
  21. Also, any false declaration detected later may lead to withdrawal from training. Such applicants will be handed over to the Nigeria Police for prosecution.
  22. The Nigerian Air Force will not entertain any enquiries in respect of applicants whose applications have been rejected. Interested applicants are to note that the online registration is FREE OF CHARGE.
  23. Applicants are required to fill in valid email addresses and telephone numbers in the appropriate spaces provided in the Application Form.
