The eNaira is the product of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s years of study towards pushing the boundaries of the payments system in order to make financial.
The CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, termed the launch as the first in Africa and one of the first in the world.

How to Apply and start trading with eNaira
To access, hold, and use eNaira, you’ll need an eNaira wallet.
- Go to the Google Play Store or the Apple Store and download the eNaira app and finish the registration process.
- Use USSD codes and follow the registration prompts for feature phone users.
- Customers can also use the eNaira app to find a bank of their choice, connect to their accounts, and perform transactions.
- Contact the customer service department of the bank you choose while registering for eNaira via email. Any issues will be resolved as quickly as feasible.
