A Girl from Benue win Big in Dubai World Spelling Bee – (PHOTOS)

In Nigeria, there are large gender disparity between the education that which boys and girls receive. Many girls do not have access to adequate education past a certain age. Princess Adeja’s Dooshima Avar emerges as the 9th best in the World at InterContinental Spelling Championship bee in Dubai.

According to a Facebook user, she scores a total 73 points out of 100 points, and out of 103 participants.

In conclusion the government enabling environment to support girl child education in Nigeria.
