The kidnapped Oyo village head and his wife have been released

 

Chief Tafa Apapan and his wife, the abducted Baale of Araromi, have been released from the clutches of kidnappers.

On Tuesday night, June 22, unknown gunmen kidnapped the Baale and his wife in their home in Araromi, Ido Local Government Area, Oyo State. Click here to read more.

On Thursday night, June 24, the duo was released. According to unconfirmed sources, they were released after the abductors demanded N2 million in ransom from the family.
