The Senate passed a bill on Wednesday that aims to eliminate the distinction between holders of a Higher National Diploma certificate and those with a university degree in the country.
Senator Ayo Akinyelure sponsored the bill, which received a third reading on the Senate floor during plenary.
Ahmad Kaita, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFUND, submitted his report, and the Senate approved all six of the revised sections.
