Democracy Day: FG Declares Monday 14th June, 2021

 

To commemorate this year’s Democracy Day, the Federal Government has announced Monday, June 14, 2021 as a public holiday.

In a statement on behalf of the Federal Government, Minister of Interior Rauf Aregbesola congratulated Nigerians and requested support for the current administration in its efforts to ensure a united and prosperous nation.

For the interest of everybody, Aregbesola said any sort of agitation that threatens the country’s unity should be avoided. He said that if all citizens embrace the spirit of unity, Nigeria will be a place of peace, unity, and growth.
