Olabisi Olaseni, a Nigerian female, has used her mandated one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program in Ondo state to do a selfless act of love. Since the federal government approved a raise in allowance from 19,800 to 33,000 Naira last year, many corp members have been looking forward to receiving their first allowances and fantasizing of how much money will improve their life.
For Olabisi, she imagined a delightful way to put that money to good use, and she saw how positively it would affect the lives of those in need. The corps member stationed in Ondo stated in a message that she used the money to buy meals for a blind school in the state’s Owo area.
The young lady also used her birthday to educate the children about the importance of being hardworking and innovative so that the sky is their limit. In return, the school admin expressed gratitude for her kind gesture. They stated that the country would be a better place if there were more people like her.
