Buhari arrives Apapa to Commission FG. Deep Blue Project

 

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived at Apapa, Lagos, for the opening of the Deep Blue Project, which would cost $195 million.

The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, has launched the Deep Blue Sea project to protect the Nigerian end of the Gulf of Guinea against pirates.

When fully implemented, the project is projected to boost NIMASA’s revenue profile and attract additional vessel calls to the country’s ports.

The President had previously dedicated the Lagos-Ibadan Railway Line, a 156-kilometer standard gauge line with ten stations, state-of-the-art facilities, car parks, elevators, and ultra-modern terminals.
