WAEC Limits Exam Towns for WASSCE Candidates


The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has commenced registration for private candidates who are willing to participate in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), 2020.

According to the Council’s Head of National Office (HNO), Mr. Patrick Areghan, the online registration is in progress and is open until July 31, 2020.

The candidates are permitted to selects from the list of towns during registration with 36 subject examined, the examination which usually start in August and October will now wait until a new date is fixed, because of the Corona virus pandemic.

Therefore all candidates should note that, the examination will be conducted only in urban centers, interested candidates are to visit the council website at www.waecnigeria.org, for more information. 

The registration for the examination cost N13, 950.
